Do You Need a Nintendo Switch Online Subscription to Play Nintendo Switch Sports?

Nintendo Switch Sports doesn’t need an active Nintendo Switch Online active subscription to be played, but some of its features are locked behind the online service, such as online multiplayer and some character customization options that can only be unlocked while playing online. Thankfully, you are not going to be locked out of multiplayer altogether, as you can still play local multiplayer without an active subscription.
