Using a Controller with Sun Haven
Sun Haven involves a lot of running about, building a farm, fighting off monsters, and collecting resources, lots of features that would pair well with using a controller.
As Sun Haven feels like the sort of game that could be perfect for a console such as the Nintendo Switch, many players have been asking if they can use the controller while playing on PC or Mac. The developers at Pixel Sprout Studios have responded positively saying “Sun Haven does work with a controller, all you need to do is plug it in! Our Steam page is up to date with our controller status.”

The Sun Haven Steam page explains that the game has “Partial Controller Support” which means that although you can use a controller, it is not like using a controller on a console. Players are not yet able to change key bindings when using a controller, or use all the buttons, so it is pretty limited. Its job is like a big mouse with a few more buttons, and some players have said it is better just to use a keyboard and mouse.
Until the game has another update to improve controller compatibility, it may not be worth using a controller with Sun Haven. For more hints and tips on how to play Sun Haven, visit our dedicated guide section!
