Around two months ago Don’t Starve: Pocket Edition has been finally released on the App Store in all regions. This release, unfortunately, isn’t a really pocket one, as the game can only be played on iPad. The team teased the possible iPhone version of the game but nothing has been said for some time. Thankfully, players wanting to play this excellent game on their iPhones will be able to do so very soon.
Klei Entartainment has confirmed that a Don’t Starve: Pocket Edition Universal update is going to be released this Thursday, allowing players to play the game on iPhone as well.
Don’t Starve has been originally released back in 2013 before getting ported on a variety of other formats. The game stars a scientist names Wilson who finds himself in a dark world and has to survive by keeping himself healthy, fed and mentally stable. The game is a rather unique experience so it’s perfect for those looking some something different to play. Don’t Starve: Pocket Edition includes all the content of the PC version as well as the Reign of Giants expansion, including new playable characters, new biomes, giant enemies and much more.
Don’t Starve: Pocket Edition is now available for purchase on the App Store. The Universal update will be released this Thursday, allowing iPhone owners to play the game.
