The new trailer focuses mostly on the game’s story, showing cutscenes and fearsome demons. Things just got real, and it will be up to Doom guy to save the world from destruction.

DOOM Eternal was supposed to be released in late 2019, but Bethesda confirmed late last year that the game would only release in March 2020 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The Nintendo Switch release was supposed to come alongside the others, but it has been confirmed that it will come only later this year. While this was disappointing, there’s no denying that Switch users prefer a polished game rather than a rushed one that does not deliver on its promises.

The good thing about the Nintendo Switch version delay is that Invasion Mode is likely going to be ready at launch.

This mode, which will allow players to invade other players’ games as demons, will be added to the PC, PS4 and Xbox One versions after launch with a free update.

DOOM Eternal launches on Nintendo Switch sometime in 2020.
