In this game you are going to be able to build a beautiful park, but you will also have to manage it and place all kinds of attracting for the upcoming visitors. Your goal will be to have a wide variety of attractions, and to make lots of money in hope to unlock a new island and start over again!

So, if you are ready to learn all of our Idle Theme Park Tycoon tips and tricks, then let’s get right into it!

Start making upgrades

As soon as you are getting started into the game, you will have quite a lot of things to work on. By following the tutorial you will have the Shooting Range built, but not that many upgrades done to it (since the maximum upgrades is 2000).

You should start working on making all kinds of upgrades to the park immediately. You can start by increasing the entrance ticket price and also working on the queues. This will increase the profits you get when people buy tickets, and also reduce the time it takes to actually buy the tickets.

You can then start working on other upgrades, such as the price to play in the Shooting Range and increasing the Parking slots. Either way, let’s dive into more details about each building below.

Learn the buildings’ benefits

Every building in the park has a certain thing you need to keep your eye on to know exactly what upgrades you need to make. Here is how they work:

The Parking

The Parking is pretty self-explanatory. When you tap on it you will see the number of total spaces, as well as the number of occupied spaces. If you see that the number of occupied spaces is super close to the number of total spaces, you should upgrade (just for safety).

In the Parking, you can upgrade the spaces (“Increase spaces”), which adds more parking slots, add security cameras (“Security Cameras”), which increase the parking revenue, and also add security guards (“Security Guards”) which also increase the parking revenue.

I don’t suggest adding security cameras and security guards just yet, but rather focusing on increasing the parking slots because the rest will come in time – it’s better to just increase the maximum number of people who can come visit the park at once.

The Entries

The Entries is where people come to buy tickets to visit the park. You can have a maximum number of 8 entry booths, but the cost of upgrading to 8 is quite high – so let’s start step by step.

In the entry booths each new booth you build will have a separate cost, so you need to upgrade all of them, whenever you build them. By upgrading the entry booths you will reduce the time people have to wait in line to purchase tickets.

I suggest purchasing new entry booths whenever you have the money, and whenever you can afford to make the money back relatively fast (for example not when you are making 1000 money per minute and a new booth costs 2500000, but later on when you make more money per minute).

The Management Office

This building is basically the “heart” of the park. Here you can see details about the buildings you already have in the park, as well as opt for building new ones.

Open the Management Office building and head on to the “Build” tab. Here you can see several attractions and build them when you have enough money. The attractions that are highlighted with red cannot be built only on special islands, that you will unlock later on.

In the “Marketing” tab you can opt for various ads to promote the park. You can advertise the park through newspaper, radio, TV and smartphone, with smartphone being the best. They all cost money, but you can do it if you save some.

I suggest always advertising through smartphone, because the effects of that one last 4 hours, so it’s definitely a good investment.

In the “Stats” tab you can see how your rides are doing, and see which one of your rides is bringing the most profit. You can also see your overall income, as well as other stats that can help u pick which upgrades to do next.

The Shooting Range

This is the very first attraction you will unlock, but it will fall off shortly because you can unlock the Ferris Wheel as well as a Roller Coaster and more. Try upgrading the Shooting Gallery to level 200 and keep it like that for now.

The Ferris Wheel

This is the second attraction you will unlock, and it will bring a lot of profits. Focus on first upgrading it to level 100, and start adding seats (18 seats). If you have some extra money, you can also expand the queue, but you can do that later.

For now get as many upgrades as you can, and then, once you unlock the next one, upgrade that as much as possible – until you max it.

The Roller Coaster

This is the last of the attractions that isn’t specific to a certain island. It’s the best one you can unlock on the very first island, so make sure you unlock it as soon as you can and start upgrading it (same path – upgrade it as much as you can, then start adding seats and only after work on expanding the queue).

The Jungle Ride, Valley of Terror, Treasure Island, Space Launch

These are the rides which you can unlock only after you move on to better, more expensive islands. I definitely suggest building them whenever you can (on the right islands, of course) because they are something special and they are also fun to watch.

The Toilets

Of course, every fun park needs to have toilets, right? Well here too! You can find them to the left of the Roller Coaster, in the form of a small booth. Make sure you upgrade them level by level whenever you have some extra money left.

Learn how to make upgrades

When you unlock the attractions listed above, you will also have to make upgrades to them. Now it all depends on how you started building the park so far, but you should first make a few upgrades to the attraction itself (first option), then move on to expand the seats for the attractions, and then expand the queues.

You should also upgrade the Parking to level 8-10 (or just make 5 stars), and level up the toilets a little bit too.

Advertise your creation

You can advertise your park by going to the Management Office -> Marketing. Here, if you have the means, always try to go for Smartphone Marketing. Else, go for TV Marketing.

It’s definitely worth investing in advertising because it will bring a ton of customers. The only problem you might have, is that your rides can’t keep up with everyone joining in. Always try to make the most upgrades that you can so that you can accommodate more people.

Get some extra money from investors

In the park you can also spot a big helicopter there. When you tap on the helicopter you will be given an option which offers you either premium currency (gold) or money, in exchange for watching an ad.

I definitely suggest taking up the good offers, whenever you see one. It will offer you a random amount of money, and if it offers you anything good, definitely take it! If the amount is not that big, just refuse it and a new offer will pop up.

As for the premium currency offer, definitely watch an ad to claim gold because you can then use this gold for something even better (more details below)!

Use the gold for collectibles and boosts

The gold coins you get can be used in the shop to purchase vending machines. Always buy the Vending Machines when you have enough gold (100 for golden vending machine and 350 for VIP vending machine).

These will give you various figurines which give you passive upgrades to all the attractions in the park. The more of a kind you collect, the more they will level up, and the better stats you receive passively.

Open a VIP Campaign

At the bottom of the screen you will have an icon with a movie reel and “x2 money” next to it. Tap on it and you will open the VIP Campaign. Here you can claim every day free stuff from the vending machine, but if you choose to watch ads to fill the bar of the VIP Campaign, you will gain x2 money for the duration!

I suggest doing this every time the bar gets low because you will make a ton of money that way!
