Dragon Ball FighterZ has been going strong since its release, thanks to the excellent post-launch support provided by Arc System Works, and things are looking great for 2020 as well. The game’s Season 3 will begin this week, and the patch that will open the new season will introduce a lot of changes to all characters as well as new gameplay mechanics.
Last week, Bandai Namco released the Dragon Ball FighterZ Season 3 patch notes on the game’s official website, and English notes have yet to be shared. Thankfully, Greatfernman provided an English translation of the notes, revealing all there is to know about the incoming character and system changes. You can find them by going here.
Dragon Ball FighterZ Season 3 will not only bring changes to characters and new gameplay mechanics but also brand new characters. Dragon Ball Super’s Kefla is getting added to the game this week, while Ultra Instinct Goku, also from Dragon Ball Super, will be released sometime this Spring.
Three other characters are also coming to the game later this year, but their identities have yet to be revealed. Nevertheless, players will also a lot to look forward to if they’re planning to continue playing Dragon Ball FighterZ in 2020.
Dragon Ball FighterZ is now available on Nintendo Switch worldwide. The game is also available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
