After Trunks warns Goku and his friends about the Androids in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, the Super Saiyan from the future heads back to his own time, leaving the Z Warriors some time to prepare for the fight of their lives. Everyone starts training differently, and Vegeta is intent on using the time he has to surpass Goku and re-establish himself as the strongest Saiyan.
To do so, he will have to fight a very frightening enemy: himself. Here’s how to win this battle.
How to Defeat Vegeta (Simulated) in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot
Vegeta (Simulated) is fought during the Cell Saga, and you will be controlling Vegeta for this fight. Before you even begin, make sure to heal the real Vegeta, otherwise, you will start the fight at a disadvantage.
Vegeta (Simulated) fights pretty much like the real Vegeta, so you should have no trouble taking him down, especially if you have grown comfortable with the character and the battle system in general. Both his short and long-range attacks are easy to dodge, and if you keep your distance at all times, and use Ki attacks, you may even be able to finish him off without him even landing a hit on you.
Among the attacks that work best are the Consecutive Energy Shot, which is great at stopping the simulation’s offensive, and Galick Gun, especially after dodging the simulation’s own Galick Gun. Don’t fire it off randomly, as the boss may be able to dodge it and retaliate with some of his powerful melee attacks.
When Vegeta (Simulated) gets close to you, block or dodge if you feel confident, and retaliate with a quick combo before resuming keeping your distance again. After a short while, with a proper offensive strategy, he will be defeated.
