The world of Dragon Ball Z is a world where every wish can come true, thanks to the mysterious Dragon Balls and the powerful dragon they can summon once they have all been gathered.
Being an incredibly accurate adaptation of the original story, you can also gather the Dragon Balls in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, and summon the dragon to ask for some very nice boons. Here’s how to do so.
How to Find the Dragon Balls in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot
Before you can start collecting the Dragon Balls, you will have to make some progress in the main campaign, as you will need to defeat Frieza first before you can make some of your wishes come true. After this is done, you also have to keep in mind that you can collect the Dragon Balls only during the intermission between main story arcs, so they are not available at all times after defeating Frieza.
To actually find the Dragon Balls, you will need to rely on your map and on your Ki sense. Open up the map to find the general location of a Dragon Ball, head over to the marked location, and use your Ki sense to pinpoint its exact location. After finding all seven of them, all you have to do is open the menu and select the Dragon Balls option to summon Shenron.
All Dragon Balls Wishes
Shenron can grant four different wishes: it can revive a boss so that they can be fought again, grant 15,000 Orbs of each type, give you 30,000 Zeni or a rare item. As you progress through the story, the number of wishes that Shenron can grant at a time increase to 2 and then to 3, but then the amount of Zeni and Orbs you receive changes depending on the order of the wishes, so keep this in mind if you’re farming Z Orbs or Zeni. Also, keep in mind that there is a 20-minute cooldown timer after summoning Shenron to prevent abusing this mechanic, so beware.
