Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot: How to Unlock the Secret Boss

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is not exactly a challenging game, as Goku and his friends can overcome all sorts of enemies with proper training and powerful special attacks. There is, however, an additional boss battle in the vanilla game that will truly put your skills to the test, as power leveling to Level 100 is not only going to make much of a difference but is effectively required to even stand a chance.

How to Unlock the Secret Boss in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot

Before you are able to face the secret boss in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, you will have to complete the main story first and take on and defeat some powerful enemies scattered all over the map. To open the way to the secret boss, you need to defeat all the Villainous Enemies, which are stronger enemies that can be found by heading to the location indicated by the glowing red icons on the map. These powerful enemies yield more EXP than regular enemies and drop nice quantities of Z Orbs, so going after them is a good idea even if you just want to level up a bit without resorting to heavy grinding or finding the Dragon Balls.

Once you have defeated all Villainous Enemies, you will have to head over to the Lucca Village East Ravine Area, where you will find Towa and Mira. Before being able to take on Mira, you will have to defeat Gotenks and Vegito, who will both be at Level 100 for this fight. Win this difficult battle, fast travel to the Land of the Kais, and travel to the location highlighted with the red icon to fight Mira. This fight will even be more difficult than the one against Gotenks and Vegito, so make sure to come prepared.
