How to Use the Time Machine in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot

The Time Machine is a special machine built by Bulma that allows anyone to travel through time. She first builds this machine during the Cell saga, and it is the main focus of one of this saga’s intermission quests involving Future Trunks.

After completing the game, however, you will be able to use it as much as you want to replay through all story episodes, fight already defeated bosses, and pretty much clear any substory you may have missed during your original playthrough. It’s also possible to replay through all intermissions, meaning that you can complete the game 100& without having to play through the story again. The Time Machine also keeps track of all the substories completed, a very useful feature that will help you quite a bit achieve the coveted 100% completion.

To use the Time Machine, all you need to do is head over to Capsule Corporation in West City and talk with Dr. Briefs. This will allow you to pick any story episode or intermission, and travel back to it. Please note that enemies’ level will not scale to that of the players, so most battles will be quite easy, and transformations will be locked due to story reasons, so no taking down Raditz as Super Saiyan 3!
