We’ll help you succeed in your journey with our Dragons of Atlantis: Heirs of the Dragon cheats, tips and tricks strategy guide!
1. Follow the quests!
There will always be something ready for you to accomplish. Check your quests journal and there will be a recommended quest for you to tackle. You should always do these first as they will lead you down the general progression path, ensuring that you have all the level-appropriate buildings and upgrades ready. You will also earn some nice reward from doing the quests, such as build time speed up items.
2. Sign up for a Kabam account!
This game runs off the Kabam website, so you can create an account with them in order to save your progress across devices. Not only that, if you sign up for the first time and link your Dragons of Atlantis game to it, you’ll receive 25 rubies and 80,000 food, wood, metal, and stone! Needless to say that this is a massive resource boost and if you plan on playing this game long term, then it’ll be beneficial to sign up for an account.
3. Keep your production queues busy!
You have three separate queues for production. You have a research tab, a training tab, and a building tab. This means you can have up to three different processes going at once. If you’re currently waiting on, say, a building to finish, you can queue up some soldiers to train since you have the line open. Make sure to always keep your city busy!
4. Raise your dragon!
At the beginning of the game, you will hatch your first dragon. This dragon starts off relatively weak, so it’s up to you to raise it correctly. Feeding the dragon will increase its experience, making it level up and become stronger. You can obtain food from various events, such as quest or campaign rewards. You can also buy them directly with rubies. You can also equip your dragon with various armor pieces, but you need to find those from campaign missions. Additionally, when your dragon reaches level 4, you can send them off to the Dragon Cave to search for various treasures. Just be careful, as your dragon cannot assist you in defending or attacking when it’s out searching.
5. Power up your troops!
Before you attack enemies, you must assemble an attack party. Attack parties consist of several things: a general, a dragon, and troops of your picking. A general is required, but a dragon is optional. However, dragons greatly increase your odds of winning, so you should always take a dragon with you into battle. Be sure you have enough troops to combat your enemies’ as well. You can also enhance generals by sacrificing other generals to improve the strength of the base general. Also, some general have passive faction buffs. In order to activate these buffs, the general must be placed in the appropriate slot. There are 4 slots: amazon, primus, zolmet, and solerian. Check your generals to see where they fit.
