Choose Your Starter Carefully
Considering you are a newer player and want to have a pleasant time playing the game, you need to pick the right starter. Our choice for you would be: Chimchar! Just make sure you evolve it into Monferno before fighting the first gym so that you have access to Fighting moves. After that, since there aren’t many Fire types in the game, Chimchar should prove to be an amazing member of your team.
Speak to Every NPC
You never know which NPCs are just waiting to hand out valuable items to you, or even indispensable information that you’d need to proceed in the game or find out a neat feature. Talk to everybody!
Build Your Team Carefully
When team-building, you want to have a balanced group of Pokemon. Your Pokemon should be able to cover for each other’s type weaknesses while also being able to take on a wide variety of threats in battle.
Explore the Grand Underground
The Grand Underground is accessible to you soon after you enter Eterna City. Once you get the Explorer Kit from the Underground Man’s House, you’ll be able to explore the Underground where you can mine for rare items, capture rare Pokemon, and get rich quick!
