How to Easily Beat Melli in Pokemon Legends: Arceus

Before we can get to the strategies and tips on how to beat Melli, you would need to know that this is a 3v1 battle. This means that Melli will have three of his Pokemon out on the field at the same time, letting him hit thrice in a single turn of his.

In order for this battle to be more in your favor, you need to always use your moves in Agile Style. This ensures that you get to attack his Pokemon multiple times in a row while decreasing his chances to get even more hits off.

Now that we have established that, let’s talk about taking down his biggest threat on the field; no, not his Level 44 Skuntank, we’ll get to it in a bit. You need to take out his Zubat first.

This Zubat carries Hypnosis, and can be a real pain to your team if it gets your Pokemon drowsy. Once it’s taken care of, then you can get on to the Skuntank. It’s at a higher Level, and will be more of a pain to take care of, but with a super-effective hit or two, it should be a cake walk. Finally, take down the Skorupi as it is the least of your worries.

The ideal Pokemon to use against Melli would be Rock types that can also use Ground moves, as this would ensure that you can hit all three of his Pokemon for super-effective damage while also taking resisted damage from his Pokemon’s attacks. The perfect examples of such Pokemon would be Onix or Rhydon.
