Jetpack Joyride, the endless runner game developed by Halfbrick Studios now available on the App Store, has received a new update which introduces some new features.

The main addition of the new update is cloud saving through an Halfbrick profile, which allow players to play across different devices and even compete against those playing the game on non-iOS devices. A nice bonus is also offered to all those who sign up for a Halfbrick profile, a new Cloud Nine skin for Mr. Cuddles. Unfortunately the game has lost Game Center support in exchange for this new feature.

Jetpack Joyride is without a doubt one of the best endless runner games currently available on the App Store. Players will have to control their character as he escapes from a lab from where he stole a jetpack. Players will also be able to use a variety of vehicles that control quite differently from each other, adding some welcome variety to the overall experience.

Jetpack Joyride is now available for download for free on the App Store. The game does comes with several IAPs but they’re not needed to see everything the game has to offer. The new update is also available for download right now.
