Evony: How to Fix 24 Hour Bubbles Not Working

Evony is a real-time strategy game where players set out to conquer the world with their alliance. Players will build armies, construct large kingdoms, and send out their troops to scout and take over territory, whether through peaceful negotiations or deadly force. One of the ways to protect yourself from other players involves using a protective bubble, but they currently seem to be bugged. How to Fix 24-Hour Bubbles in Evony

In Evony, the game continues on even if you’re not actively playing the game. This means that if another player decides to be aggressive, you only have a limited amount of time to react before they pillage your kingdom.

One of the defensive measures you can take if you want to avoid conflict is to use a Truce Agreement. Truce Agreements, or “bubbles”, are premium items that come in four different versions: 8 hours, 24 hours, 3 days, and 7 days.

When a Truce Agreement is active, other players are unable to scout or attack your cities for the allotted time. A common strategy is to actively play the game for a large period of time, and then when you’re done, activate a 24-hour bubble to protect yourself during your downtime.

Unfortunately, there seems to be a bug with the current version of the game. Upon activating a 24-hour bubble, the game would notify you that your bubble is active, but it wouldn’t actually show the bubble on your city.

Logging in and out of the game and restarting the app don’t seem to do anything, and this is because there is a serious bug in the game. For the time being, do not purchase any 24-hour bubbles using gems, as that seems to be the most common factor between cases.

Thankfully, there’s a workaround for this. Bubble items purchased through other means, like the alliance shop, seem to be working properly. This bug only appears to occur if you attempt to activate a bubble by paying for it with gems.

So, to recap, do not purchase bubbles directly with gems. Only use bubble items from your inventory to guarantee that they work properly to avoid any kind of mishaps.
