Final Fantasy VIII Remastered is finally coming after a very long wait, and it seems like the game is also getting a physical release, despite Square Enix saying nothing on the matter since the announcement.
Popular retailer Play-Asia recently put up a pre-order page for a physical edition of Final Fantasy VIII Remastered Nintendo Switch version.
The pre-order price is definitely a placeholder, as there’s no way the remaster will cost as much as a new game does.
Final Fantasy VIII Remastered will come with several improvements over the original game, starting from revamped graphics with fully 3D models, the ability to cheat at any time during the game by restoring HP and the ATB gauge, and the ability to increase game speed. The timed events can also be played without the time limit.
Final Fantasy VIII Remastered will be released later this year on Nintendo Switch as well as on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
