Flappy Bird Creator Shows Next Game He’s Working On

When you are the creator of Flappy Bird, a game that became a genre and spawned thousands of clones, a game that became insanely popular without any marketing, there’s some really big pressure on you to really make it big with your next game. And most likely you will fail, because there’s simply no way to beat Flappy Bird.

However, Dong Nguyen is trying. The creator of Flappy Bird posted on Twitter an image showing his upcoming game. There are no details on the game, but it sure looks like a minimalist, pixelated running game of sorts. Probably it will be just as difficult as the original and it might as well feature some sort of multiplayer. No release date is announced and no extra details have been made public so far. All we have is the photo below:

And while we wait for Dong Nguyen to release his upcoming game, we might get another surprise from him: the indie game developer announced that he’s going to be release Flappy Bird on the App Store again, but this time with multiplayer support. Which sounds absolutely awesome and we’re curious to see how things turn out, even though the entire flappy madness kind of faded away.
