Last week’s Fortnite update introduced 60 FPS support for the latest iPhone models, XS, XS Max, and XR, and now the game runs better than ever on these devices. Now, it seems like Epic Games is going to improve Fortnite on iPad as well as on Android devices.
The Fortnite developer recently confirmed that Fortnite will be getting 60 FPS support for certain iPad Pro models with the next update. The default setting will still be 30FPS, but players will have the ability to select the better frame rate if they so desire.
Epic Games also confirmed that they are aiming to bring 60 FPS support to select Android devices as well. No timeframe has been confirmed, but the developer stated that they are working with manufacturers to bring 60FPS support on select high-end devices.
Aside from 60Â FPS support, last week’s Fortnite update introduced plenty of new content to the game, such as a new time limited mode called Team Rumble Limited Time mode, where teams of players have to take down 100 people to win.
Fortnite is now available on iOS and Android, as well as PC and consoles.
