Epic Games have launched the amazing Fortnite Battle Royale on mobile and everybody wants to play the game. Well, we’re here to help you actually win all the games you play by sharing a bunch of Fortnite cheats and tips in a complete strategy guide for the popular mobile game.

If you have played other battle royale games recently, then you already know most of the things that you should know about playing Epic’s title. But with its cartoonish graphics and interesting mechanics, Fortnite mobile might require a bit more strategy than you think at first – and that’s exactly what we’re going to talk about in today’s article.

So let’s not waste a single second and instead let’s check out some Fortnite mobile tips and tricks below!

Always go with a full squad
No matter how good of a player you are, if you’re playing against a squad of 4 and your team only has 2 members, chances are that you’re going to get toast. So always spend some time waiting for your squad’s slots to be filled and hope for the best members to join your team.

But even if they don’t really play a good game and are not solid team players, it’s still an advantage over trying to brave the entire game alone or just with another team member, when there are squads of 3 or 4 there. If you can bring in your players, then things are even better!

Stick to your team, set landing landmarks
Before the actual bus starts flying, you should set a land mark on the map – that would be the place where you and your team will land and start gathering loot and resources. You can see where each of the team members place their mark based on the color of the pin they have and you should always try to stick together.

There’s no point in going with a squad if you’re not going to stick to your team members – so make sure you always do. It’s not as fun and at times you might not end up landing in a place you’d like to land, but as I said before, it’s a lot easier to win this game if you’re not playing it alone!

Learn the map
The map in Fortnite mobile is pretty huge and there are a ton of places for looting great stuff from. Try them all out and remember the sweetest spots on the map – that’s where you should try to go.

Also keep an eye out for other players. A really good looting space becomes not that great if another player manages to get there before you do. In that case, a slightly worse spot becomes a much better option – so always keep your eyes open and try to be as fast as possible.

This doesn’t mean to get out of the bus ASAP. On the contrary – most people don’t wait too long and it’s their mistake: be patient instead and wait to get to the North-Eastern forest where we have some really good loot spots. Plus, more chances for you to survive longer if you’re not right into the heart of the battle!

Get a shotgun ASAP
The shotgun is probably the most important weapon in the game, especially when it comes to short range combat. Therefore, you should do your best to get a shotgun ASAP and equip it instantly as soon as you get close to an enemy.

With the limited slots, I would recommend to always have these weapons and items equipped: a rifle, a shotgun, a sniper, some sort of explosives and a shield or other health item.

Master the crafting
An extremely interesting element in Fortnite is the ability your character has to craft various structures. Although you won’t really have time to do some more complex crafting (like building watch towers like some people try to build), you can really use the walls to your advantage. But you have to learn to craft fast!

You can build walls to act as cover whenever you are retreating – basically covering your six or sides, or when you are using items to heal your character. Building platforms to get you high to very important loot locations can be extremely useful, while your team can use your building skills to simply get over a wall built by other players and surprise them from above.

So you will have to do a lot of practice when it comes to building in Fortnite and be able to do it fast and flawless. These things will save your life on multiple occasions and they’re the things that make the difference between the winners and the losers!

Keep an eye on the shrinking playfield
As it always happens in this type of games, the playfield shrinks to keep things interesting. Always keep an eye on the countdown timer and make sure you’re in the white zone.

Even more, as the play field is getting smaller and smaller, you should try to stay out of houses and other similar structures as chances are there’s already somebody there, waiting for you to come in. The smaller the play area, the farther away you should be from buildings if you want to stand a chance!
