Genshin Impact 1.5 update beta testing began on March 16, 2021, and despite signing the NDA, the internet was flooded with Genshin Impact 1.5 update related leaks. Even after a warning from miHoYo, we saw new leak footage surfaced over social media channels. And, it looks like after Genshin Impact 1.5 update leaks went haywire, miHoYo has decided to shut down version 1.5 beta testing.
As per Twitter user Seewlie, Genshin Impact 1.5 beta testing has been shut down. There has been no official announcement done from miHoYo’s end.
[Update] Just like other Genshin Impact leakers, Seewlie’s Twitter account does not exist anymore.
While Genshin Impact leaks may interrupt the development process. Fans are not happy with miHoYo’s response to leaks. As many of the Genshin Impact fans believe that the developers should pay more attention to the security issues looming around Genshin Impact player accounts.
Most of the Genshin Impact leakers have one counter-argument to miHoYo statement on version 1.5 leaks. And that is “Leaks don’t emerge from nowhere”.
As we mentioned earlier, miHoYo has yet to make an official statement on the closure of Genshin Impact 1.5 beta testing. We will update this article if new news comes regarding this topic.
