The Emblem of Severed Fate artifact set in Genshin Impact is highly focused on energy recharge. The two pieces bonus provides players with a 20% increase in energy recharge. The release of Emblem of Severed Fate artifact set with the Genshin Impact 2.0 update is not a coincidence. If you have a closer look at the set bonus, you can see that it is best suited for an upcoming character like Ayaka. Of course, there are existing characters with great Burst DPS potential – can also benefit from this new artifact set.

Emblem of Severed Fate Set Bonus

  • 2 Piece Set – Energy Recharge +20%
  • 4 Piece Set – Increases Elemental Burst DMB by 25% of Energy Recharge. A maximum of 75% bonus DMG can be obtained in this way.

Now talking about the Shimenawa’s Reminiscence artifact set. It is highly focused on ATK% and DMG. You can even say Shimenawa’s Reminiscence is a nuanced version of the Gladiator’s set best suited for high DPS build.

And, just like the Emblem of Severed Fate artifact set, the Shimenawa’s Reminiscence is best suited for an upcoming character like Yoimiya. Now, if you have played Genshin Impact and experimented with the artifacts, you know there is no exclusivity when it comes to artifacts.

We do have artifacts that are based on elemental damage bonus. However, with artifacts like Emblem of Severed Fate and Shimenawa’s Reminiscence. Players can use it depending on how they are building the character. For example, if you want to use Yoimiya as a Burst DPS, then the Emblem of Severed Fate artifact set is what you should go for.

But if you want to use her as a normal DPS, then increasing ATK%, getting CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG% would do you more benefit, and in that case, Shimenawa’s Reminiscence is best suited for you.

Shimenawa’s Reminiscence Set Bonus

  • 2 Piece Set – ATK +18%
  • 4 Piece Set – When casting an Elemental Skill, if the character has 15 or more Energy, the loose 15 Energy and Normal/Charged/Plunging Attack DMG is increased by 50% for 10s.
