Genshin Impact Childe/Tartaglia Best Builds

Genshin Impact’s latest update 1.1 brought two new playable characters to the existing roster. Tartaglia, also known as Childe and Diona was added to the game with the latest update as a part of the Farewell of Snezhnaya banner on November 11, 2020. Being a five-star rare character, everyone started performing gacha-rolls/wishes to get Tartaglia.

For people who don’t know, Tartaglia is the 11th Harbinger of Fatui that first appeared during the Chapter 1 Act 1 Story Quest.

Tartaglia is a hydro element user whose weapon of choice is a bow. But, that not all, he is one of the very first hybrid users in Genshin Impact, who wield both long-range and close-range weapons. Tartaglia’s elemental skill Foul Legacy: Raging Tide allows him to wield close-range weapons like dual daggers, made completely out of hydro.

When it comes down to elemental skill and burst attacks, Tartaglia has a lot to offer. Depending on his stance he performs different attacks and deals with different types of damage like hydro, debuffs, or just raw physical damage.

Genshin Impact: Best Builds for Childe/Tartaglia

In our previous Diluc’s high DPS build guide, we explained that in Genshin Impact we can have two types of High DPS builds. One being the Physical High DPS build and the second one is the Elemental High DPS build.

Childe Physical High DPS Build

The physical high DPS build focuses on the raw ATK power to deal high physical damage. It is one of the best builds to go with, plus combining this build with a few support characters or another DPS character will create an overpowered team.

To begin with, in this build players need the Gladiator’s Finale artifact set and as for the weapon goes, this build requires the four-star Viridescent Hunt Bow or the five-star Amos Bow.

The Amos bow increases secondary stats increases the ATK% by 10.8% that can be further increased by upgrading the weapon, as well as ascending. Meanwhile, the Viridescent Hunt Bow increases the ATK value and increase the CRIT RATE% as a bonus.

Childe Elemental High DPS Build

To go with the Elemental High DPS build, players need any of the two artifact sets, first one is the Wanderer’s Troupe and the second one is the Noblesse Oblige set. And, as far as the weapon goes, the five-star bow Skyward Harp will get your job done.

Equipping a 2 or 4 artifacts of the same set grants additional bonuses.

• 2-Piece: Elemental Burst DMG +20%.
• 4-Piece: Using an Elemental Burst increases all party members’ ATK by 20% for 12s. This effect cannot stack.
