Genshin Impact 1.2 update is right around the corner, players are eagerly waiting to try out new content. Moreover, in the wake of slow download and busy servers during past updates – the developers miHoYo have finally added the long-awaited feature of pre-downloading updates(currently available for PC players).

On December 21, 2020, PC players can pre-install Genshin Impact 1.2 update files. Now keeping that aside, we also have a new ongoing event – A Thousand Questions With Paimon that rewards players with free Mora. Players were already busy playing the last few events of Genshin Impact version 1.1, but, as always – miHoYo is once again back with a preview of the upcoming update 1.2.

Genshin Impact’s upcoming event – The Chalk Prince and the Dragon is going live on December 23, 2020, and it will be ending on January 5, 2021, at 03:59 (server time). It is a two weeks-long event where players will solve the mystery of Dragonspine.

The Chalk Prince and the Dragon event shop will be available as soon as players update their game to the latest version 1.2. And, the best part is that the event shop will be available till January 12, 2021, 03:59(server time).

As we said earlier, the hype for Genshin Impact 1.2 update is real, though not every player will be able to dig into the new event right away – as there are some pre-requisites that players must complete, in-order-to access the event.

Players must be Adventure Rank 20 or above, moreover, they must complete the Archon Quest – “For a Tomorrow Without Tears,” as well as the Albedo’s story quest “Princeps Cretaceus Chapter” to access The Chalk Prince and the Dragon Event.
