A recent Genshin Impact leak has unveiled a new enemy from the Abyss Order. The Abyss Herald is a creature that can manipulate abyssal energy, and where we find the most abyssal energy in Genshin Impact? – the lost region of Khaenri’ah. Alongside, the Abyss Herald, we also have a new quest related to Khaenri’ah, Abyss, Dainsleif, and Traveller’s missing sibling coming to the game at some point.
Keeping that aside, in this article we are going to talk about Abyss Herald, their element, their leaked character model, and much more. So, without any further ado, let us get to today’s topic.

As per the leaks, Abyss Herald is a hydro type enemy(we may get other elements in near future). Moreover, in terms of hierarchy, they stand at a higher position than the Abyss Mages, as a result, they command the abyss mages, and a little description of them reveals that they are more twisted than the Abyss Mages.
The reference image of Genshin Impact Abyss Herald rendered by the leaker Lumie gives us the very first look at the new enemy and their model design. According to Lumie, the relative height of the Abyss Herald is around 294 cm, which is 9 feet 7 inches.

Genshin Impact’s version 1.3 update introduced Dainsleif in the game, alongside a new quest called Bough Keeper: Dainsleif. During that quest, players enter a story domain called Abyssal Traces that uses the same map as Winds of the Past quest domain, Prologue, Act 1: The Outlander Who Caught the Wind(Amber’s Quest – the flying test one).
The description of the Abyssal Traces domain says –
The abyssal traces have led you back here. Will the Abyss Herald rear its head and let you witness its transformation brought upon by the Abyssal Gospel?
This again gives us another clue on Genshin Impact’s new upcoming enemy – the Abyss Herald.
Using the Abyssal Gospel they can transform into a more fierce enemy, overall increasing their ATK power, and most probably getting a few extra movesets.
Genshin Impact is a free to play gacha-based role-playing game currently available on PC, PS4, Android, and iOS.
