Genshin Impact offers a surfeit amount of quests that are divided into many categories, such as – World Quests, Archon Quests, Story Quests, Daily Commisions and so on. Among the different categories, the daily commission quests are recurring. And, just as the name suggests players can do these quests on daily basis to earn rewards like Adventurer’s XP, Primogems, Mora, etc.

The Tales of Winter is a daily commission in Genshin Impact, given by a non-hostile Fatui member – Viktor, who is normally found inside of Mondstadt cathedral. Unlike the world quests or any other similar category quests, Tales of Winter is a daily commission – and the quest cannot be started on personal preference.

The Tales of Winter daily commission quest is a short one where you are generally asked to bring back dropped loot from a ruin guard. Here is how players can complete the quest without any problem.

Step 1.) Go to Mondstadt Cathedral and talk to Viktor to start the daily commission.

Step 2.) Talk to Viktor and start the daily commission.

Note: You will be given three different routes for this daily commission choose any one and proceed with the quest.

Tip: Completing all three routes of the Tales of Winter quest in Genshin Impact rewards players with an achievement called “Telling it how it is“.

Step 3.) Go to the marked location and kill the ruin guard to collect the loot.
