Candy Crush Friends Saga promises to bring some welcome improvements to the extremely popular formula of the series.

The presentation has been revamped and now graphics will sport 3D models, which will still retain the feel of the classic Candy Crush style.

Gameplay has also been revamped. While players will still be doing a lot of crushing, they will be doing that with the help of different friends, who will all come with different abilities. What better way to continue doing something potentially tedious if not by spicing it up a bit?

Candy Crush Friends Saga looks like it has the potential to be another smashing success for King, with a mix of a simple yet engaging formula, and plenty of cuteness.

Candy Crush Friends Saga launches on iOS and Android devices on October 11th. Like previous entries in the series, it will be a free to play game, so watch out for abusing microtransactions; it’s easy to get sucked in and get too much sugar in a day.
