Upgrade order
You will make your life in the game a lot easier if you upgrade in the correct order and never waste your hard earned cash on worthless upgrades.

I recommend upgrading the Depth once, then the Net (number of fish you can catch) once and so on. Remember that going deep is really important, because the deeper you go, the larger and rarer the fish you can catch. This is why simply focusing on the numbers is not a good idea for the long run.

Before you stop playing the game (if you can!), remember to invest all the money you have in the Offline Earnings upgrade. This way, you will maximize earnings and get even more upgrades next time you play.

Look at the fish when you cast
Although the hook goes down pretty fast and controlling the line when it goes up isn’t the easiest thing around, you do have a chance to do some minor planning as you cast the line.

Look at the fish you pass by and try to make a plan to capture the best only – as some are more valuable than others (more on this below).

Get those golden boys and girls!
The most valuable fish are the golden/rainbow ones. They can be found at any depth and they will always increase your earnings by a ton. So try to catch as many of those as possible, as they are premium catch.

Basically, whenever you see a fish that’s a bit out of the ordinary, you should go for it because there are great rewards from catching it. Not easy to get, but if you do, you’ll be happy!

Double your earnings
When you score a solid catch, you can easily watch an ad and double those earnings (sometimes even triple them!) I recommend taking advantage of this offer often as it helps you buy more upgrades a lot faster. But do consider watching ads a must when you score a record cactch.

Play without ads
If the ads annoy you and you can’t afford to support the Go Fish game developers by buying the no ads version, you can play the game with your internet turned off and there will be no ads to bug you any more.

Have in mind that if you go this route, you won’t be able to double or triple your earnings either, so it’s not really a win-win situation.

Further more, remember that these ads are what put food on the developers’ table and pay for the bills, so only choose this as a last resort option. You can pay for the No Ads IAP instead and it’ll be much better overall!
