It might sound strange to see the title of an AAA RPG like Lords of the Fallen near 8-Bit Farm, but the truth is that these are both great games! They have been launched this week on the App Store, together with some other amazing games and I’m here to share the news with you. This is by far the best week so far in terms of new mobile game releases since 2017 started!
After being bombarded with questionable free to play games and not much else, this week is massive. RPG, Strategy, Simulation, Adventure… we have them all this week and you can check out all the top games that have just been launched below.
Lords of the Fallen
The highlight of the week is by far the release of the mobile version of Lords of the Fallen, a game based on the AAA RPG by CI Games, Deck13 Interactive. Unfortunately, this is not a port but a different game, one that will remind you of other amazing action titles that you might have played in the past. With top graphics and amazing features, this one is a must buy!
Fight against unholy horrors using the steel of your sword and the courage of your conviction. Dodge leviathan fists and counter with a flurry of slashes. Chain together massive combos and deliver unspeakable damage with the edge of your blade. Click here to get the game now.
8-Bit Farm
Kairosoft are back with a charming new simulation game that puts you in charge of building up an entire farm and taking it to further glory. It features the well known retro-pixelated graphics and art from Kairosoft and if you’ve played one of their games in the past and enjoyed them, you will surely love 8-Bit Farm as well. If you haven’t tried their games, do yourself a favor and start now!
A humble little farm desperately needs a new manager, such as you! Start out by getting some livestock, grow flowers, fruit and vegetables, gradually expanding your fields and increasing the number of staff until you’re ready to open for agritourism. Get the game here.
Stagehand: A Reverse Platformer
A really interesting platformer game with an unique take on the genre: instead of controlling the player, you control the environment: the stage! Your job is to quickly and strategically position all the platforms on the level before our hero Frank (last seen in The Incident) runs headfirst into a cliff, or feet-first… into lava.
Fast, hilarious and fun, this game brings a fresh breath of air. If you think you need one, click here to get the game.
The Horus Heresy: Battle of Tallarn
A deep strategy game created by HexWar. I happen to love their titles, but I also know that they’re not for everybody. But if you played their games in the past and enjoyed them – or if you usually love in-depth strategy games with a big focus on tactical elements – then you will surely enjoy this game as well.
The Horus Heresy: Battle of Tallarn is a turn-based strategy game that recreates one of the most important events in Imperial history. Command a vast array of tanks, Dreadnoughts, Knights and Titans across the toxic landscape. Play as desperate Solar Auxilia units fighting squadrons of Iron Warrior Predators for control of vast underground bunkers. The game is available on the App Store here.
Miss Fisher and the Deathly Maze – Ep. 1
Episode 1 of an epic murder mystery, visual novel adventure in which you become the Honourable Miss Phryne Fisher, the glamorous and stylish super-sleuth!
Set in the 1920s in Melbourne, Australia and based on the TV Show, this game delivers some great moments for the fans of the adventure genre. Check it out here.
Nelly Cootalot: The Fowl Fleet
Another hilarious adventure game that Mac owners might already know as the game was available for Macs a while ago and received quite some praise back then, as well as some “Best of awards”. Again, if you are into adventure games, you will definitely enjoy the adventure of Nelly Cootalot!
Pirate heroine Nelly Cootalot takes on the evil Baron Widebeard in this hilarious adventure game. Meet an outlandish cast of characters featuring the voice of Tom Baker (Dr Who), and face perplexing challenges in your search for the Treasure of the Seventh Sea. Click here to get the game now.
So these would be our recommendations for the day. Some great games here, as I already said and a bit of everything for everybody. My recommendation? Try them all if you managed to put some money aside because these are all amazing games!
