Blizzard has been dropping quite a few “bombs” this weekend, with so many new announcements coming during the annual BlizzCon.
Together with all the announcements related to World Of Warcraft and Diablo III, Blizzard has also revealed a new Warcraft game that will soon be released on iPad called Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft.
Even though the game will be using themes, characters, items and more taken from the hugely successful MMO game World Of Warcraft, the iPad game will be played quite differently, as it is a free to play card battler.
While iPad owners have been left quite happy about the announcement, the fact that no iPhone version has been confirmed in the original announcement has left many more disappointed.
The team, however, has now confirmed that Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft will also launch on iPhone. Unfortunately the game is not going to be released anytime soon, as Blizzard has confirmed that Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft will only be released in the latter half of 2014.
Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft should be going into beta testing soon before being released. Since we’re talking about Blizzard, delays are a concrete possibility.
Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft will be released soon on the App Store for iPad. The iPhone version will be released sometime during the second half of 2014. You can check out a fresh video of the game right below.
