Activision is gearing up for the next big Call of Duty: Mobile update called Season 9 Nightmare. As per the official patch notes, the forthcoming update will feature two new multiplayer maps, drop zone mode, trick or treat event and a lot more. Beyond this, players will also witness the addition of two new weapons, Thumper and Swordfish, to the ever-growing Call of Duty: Mobile firearm’s pool.
The brand new battle pass is, however, the most talked-about addition whenever a new COD Mobile major update arrives. While the complete details of the COD Mobile Season 9 battle pass haven’t been revealed yet, the game developers have given us a brief overview of the rewards coming along with it. With that said, here’s a glimpse of the glorious rewards that players can snag in the forthcoming update.
COD Mobile Season 9 Battle Pass rewards
Call of Duty: Mobile Season 9 Nightmare goes live on October 21. The upcoming battle pass is packed with horror-themed content in a brand-new Battle Pass, including free and premium items like new Operators, a new functional weapon, Weapon Blueprints, Calling Cards, Charms, Call of Duty Points, and more. Here’s a complete list of the available rewards in the battle pass.
Tak-5 Operator Skill
Sourced from Call of Duty Black Ops 4, Tak-5 is a specialist skill exclusively available in the free version of the Season 9 battle pass. TAK-5 is a defensive skill that increases the health of the player and their teammates by 50 HP. This health is displayed on the top of the character’s head with two extra yellow bars.

Swordfish Tactical Rifle
Next, Swordfish Tactical Rifle will be joining the game’s weapon pool following the release of Season 9. The firearm specialises in burst fire and comes with a massive damage rate. Players will be able to grab this classical gun at Tier 21 of the Season 9 Battle Pass.

As always, the playable characters are also getting new skins in the new battle pass. Here’s a list for the same:
