In today’s article we are going to dive into the Hitmasters tips and cheats to help you pass more stages and to learn everything that you need to know.
While this game is pretty simple, there are quite a lot of strategic pointers you need to take into consideration, when playing any of the stages. So if you want to always be on your A-game and pass as many stages as possible, then let me help you out by sharing with you some of the stuff that helped me pass stages much easier.
So without further ado, let’s dive into the Hitmasters tips and tricks right here below and tell you everything that you need to know in order to get through the stages much faster.
Always try to conserve the shots
In the left side of the screen you will have a number of bullets available for each of the levels. I suggest that you always try to use as few as possible because that will help you get more money at the end of the stage.
If you try to finish the stage within just a shot or two, that is a much better approach than to waste all shots and possibly not even finishing the stage. By completing a stage with just 1 shot you’ll get a better end stage result and more money.
Choose which game mode you want to play
There are a total of 4 game modes, and the weapon mechanics differs in all of them. You should always try to play and progress more in the one that you enjoy the most, because there will be multiple weapons that you can unlock.
These are the available game modes:
– Shotgun Mode: You get to shoot directly with your weapon at whatever environmental object you want to destroy, or straight up people that you want to take down.
– Gravity Mode: You will use your weapon to pull objects and then release (shoot) the pulled objects towards the enemies or environmental objects you want to destroy.
– Ricochet Mode: This mode will allow you to bounce your bullets off the walls and into the direction that you want them to go, to destroy what you want.
– Toxic Mode: Unlike the previous modes, you will be able to throw poisonous bottles, grenade-like into the air and over obstacles, into whatever you want to hit.
Personally I like the Toxic Mode and Shotgun Mode the most, but that’s me – you can play any of the stages that you like and enjoy the most. The more you play into a mode, the more weapons you will unlock specific to that game mode.
Watch ads to unlock freebies
Every now and then the game will offer you free skins for your character and free weapons, and not only. All that you need to do in order to claim them is to watch an advertisement. If you want to quickly get free skins and weapons (a.k.a. visual upgrades) you don’t even have to save up in game money for it – you can just watch ads to unlock them.
Now another thing that you can unlock via watching ads is more in game money. You might wonder what the in game money is for, and I wondered about that myself – but the short answer is new weapons.
Sometimes a Shop will appear in the game which will offer you three options, out of which one is free (watch an ad to receive) – the other two options will cost in game money, and they are usually weapons for the current mode that you’re playing.
Have patience
Sometimes you will encounter stages where the environmental objects are constantly moving – for those, the best approach you could take is to have patience and keep your finger on the screen ready to shoot at any given time. That way you can seize the best opportunity and shoot when you have a clear path.
I like these stages especially because they prove what can be the best approach that you can take towards finishing the stage, and will pretty much enable you to act like a sniper pretty much!
Choose the right box
Sometimes between stages you will be faced with a lucky shop offer which will give you three boxes to choose from. The best prize you can get will be shown on top side of the boxes, and you can choose any box that you want to open and try your luck.
Every time that I tried my luck, I picked the box on the right. I am not sure if it’s pure luck, but to me that one turned out to be the lucky one! Of course, you can choose to watch an ad to open all three boxes for extra prizes!
Not all stages can be passed with 1 shot
Some of the stages will have more shot chances, while others will have fewer – I suggest that you try to explore all of the possibilities and try to find the one which takes the least shots. Now if there are enemies on opposite sides and it’s not possible to reach them by any means, then that means the stage is not meant to be passed with 1 shot!
