Honkai Star Rail PS4 & PS5: Is Honkai Star Rail Coming to PlayStation?

Honkai Star Rail is an upcoming gacha based roleplaying game from Genshin Impact developers miHoYo that conducted its first closed beta testing in October this year. It is a spin-off version of miHoYo’s previous title, Honkai Impact The Third. That, unlike its predecessor, features turn-based combat and a few more nuances.

Honkai Star Rail closed beta testing was only held on the PC and iOS platforms. While it was a piece of great news that miHoYo was still looking forward to releasing their games on multiple platforms other than mobile. Their plans for releasing Honkai Star Rail on the PlayStation and Nintendo Switch platforms are still unclear. 

Is Honkai Star Rail Coming to PlayStation?

Honkai Star Rail is in its very early stages of production. So far, there is no official news on whether the game will come to the PlayStation platform or not.

Over mail, we talked to miHoYo and learned that Honkai Star Rail’s development is in its very early stages and not in a very stable state. The closed beta testing is held so that the developers can get feedback from the players.

The feedbacks help in the overall game development process, and that is why you can see a game having multiple closed and open beta testings. 

That aside, we went ahead and questioned miHoYo on the availability of Honkai Star Rail on different platforms. Though, the only answer we got was, “Honkai Star Rail, as you might have noticed, is still in very early stage. So it still has a lot potential and uncertainty.” And that’s it.

Till then, you can count the few many reasons why Honkai Star Rail is a great game to launch on the PlayStation platform.
