First thing’s first, you need to know how you can catch the fish, otherwise what’s good about knowing where to find it! Well, the good news is that tuna can be caught exactly the same way as any other fish. There are no gimmicks or weird mechanics about it. Simply equip your fishing rod and throw the line into the water. After that, you just have to be patience and let your bait work its magic!

Where to Catch Tuna Fish in Stardew Valley

It’s not that hard to find tuna fish in Stardew Valley. All you have to do is know where to look for it. And, tuna appears in many places. It can be found at the Beach, or on the Beach farm. But there’s more. Tuna can randomly be found in Garbage Cans or you can even purchase it at the Travelling Cart in exchange for gold.

Of course, it can also be caught on Island West, South and Southeast and in the Pirate Cove. The only thing that you need to keep in mind is that tuna can only be caught during Summer and Winter. There are two exceptions to this rule, though. One is with a Magic Bait. If you have one, you can catch a tuna any time of the year. The other exception is on Ginger Island, which is an area that tuna can be caught during any season. Oh, and, you should try to catch it during the daylight!
