How and Who Can You Date in Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery

Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery is a role-playing video game developed and published by Jam City under license from Portkey Games. The game is set in the Wizarding World and based on the Harry Potter novels written by J.K. Rowling.

The game was released for Android and iOS on April 25^th 2018. Players praised its free-roam settings throughout Hogwarts with an underlying original plot looming in the background. There are a lot of entertaining features added in between the main story to make the game more engaging to the players.

One of the fun activities in the game that was introduced more recently was that of Dating.

Dating

Dating was a feature introduced to Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery last year. It was an addition to the Friendship mechanic that was added the year before that, which allowed players to build more intimacy between themselves and other eligible characters of their choice for even more rewards.

Dating a character is easy, there are two dating spots to choose from. Initially, Hagrid’s Garden is the only date spot that works. Once the player has dated a certain character enough till their Romance level reaches level 4, the player gets access to the Courtyard date spot to further deepen their intimacy with their favorite characters.

So which characters can you date?

Eligible Characters

Here’s the list of eligible characters that can be dated:

• Penny: Everyone’s favorite Potion expert and resident girl-next-door.
• Barnaby: The headstrong wizard with a soft spot for Magical Creatures.
• Andre: The most fashionable wizard in all of Hogwarts!
• Jae: Resident troublemaker and shady dealer with a heart of gold.
• Badeea: The most innovative and creative spell creating witch!
• Talbott: Your resident Animagus who prefers flying solo.
• Chiara: The loving healer with a dark Werewolf-sized secret.
• Merula: The most powerful witch in all of Hogwarts! Nuff said.

All the player has to do is go to the date spot and initiate a date with one of the characters. Players can do this once a day and this can be sped up with gems. Deepen your bonds with your favorite witch or wizard!
