Given how the Persona series is a role-playing game series, the story is an extremely important element of the Persona 4 Arena Ultimax experience. It is not as long as it is in the main entries in the series, but it’s still quite big, considering this is a fighting game we are talking about.

Here’s precisely how long it takes to 100% the Persona 4 Arena Ultimax story mode.

How Long is Persona 4 Arena Ultimax Story Mode?

At the start of the game, Persona 4 Arena Ultimax features two different story modes – Episode P4 and Persona 4 Arena Story Mode. The first one is the main story mode in the game, which is mostly focused on the Persona 4 characters. The second one is the original story mode featured in Persona 4 Arena, and it takes place before Episode P4. So, if you have never experienced Persona 4 Arena before, you should play this mode before delving into the Episode P4 mode.

Despite the story differences, the two story modes in Persona 4 Arena Ultimax take the same time to complete, between 3 and 4 hours, so you will need around 8 hours to fully complete the two story modes, and a little more to see the true ending in the new mode that is unlocked after completing both of them. As already mentioned, the Persona 4 Arena Ultimax story is much shorter than that seen in the main games, but it’s still quite enjoyable, especially if you have missed these characters and want to see them in action again.
