In the overall game, there are currently 905 Pokémon in the National Pokédex. And with the reveal of Fuecoco, Quaxly, and Sprigatito, this number has increased to 908 although they won’t exactly be counted until Scarlet and Violet are released. It’d also worth noting that of these 905 species, they span from several games and generations, leaving just about a thousand Pokémons in total.
