In Minecraft Bedrock Edition, Strongholds are often sought out to find and open a portal to the End. You would probably be happy to know that the Bedrock world contains quite the few strongholds for you to find.
How Many Strongholds are in a Minecraft Bedrock World?
Up to 128 Strongholds can be generated in a Minecraft Bedrock Edition world. Sometimes they are generated in connection with a Village well. As of Update 1.0, it is possible to locate them using Eyes of Ender or using the /locate Command.
In Minecraft: Bedrock Edition, strongholds practically generate at random. The distances that these strongholds can generate are not exactly set, which means that they can even be found above-ground, underwater, and even under villages.
Since there is no real set distance for stronghold generation in Minecraft: Bedrock Edition, they can even overlap on occasion. Because the algorithm generates strongholds randomly in Bedrock, there are, practically, an infinite number of potential strongholds.
Strongholds, oddly, have no outward indication that they exist, making them tough to locate. At times, you can dig around a Village Well to make it easier for you to locate the Stronghold.
From the Interior, however, Strongholds are very large and complex, like a maze. They vary in size and contain multiple rooms often with walls of Iron Bars, corridors, Libraries, stairwells, fountains, dead ends, and other features. Strongholds are lit by enough Torches to provide visibility in most areas, though not enough to suppress Mobs from spawning.
All Strongholds are guaranteed to contain the End Portal room, probably a Stronghold’s most sought-after feature.
