After launching in 2012, EA’s The Sims: Freeplay went on to become one of the most popular simulation games on mobile. Apart from the fact that it allows players to play offline, The Sims Freeplay is a beautiful game that lets you create a video game version of yourself and give them some of your own real-life traits and personalities.
You get to live life as a Sim and experience the day-to-day ups and downs that came with living with other Sims. You can get married, have kids, grow old and watch your kids get married as well. The possibilities are endless in The Sims Freeplay and in this article, we’ll be looking at how to add neighbors in Sims Freeplay.
How to Add Neighbors in Sims Freeplay
There are some Sims in the game that have eccentric or introverted personalities and they don’t exactly like having neighbors around. And while it’s not mandatory to have neighbors in Sims Freeplay, it’s still pretty important to have them around.
That’s because you can earn Social Points by completing Social Goals. And you can’t really complete these Social Goals without having a neighbor to visit. Luckily, it’s very simple to add neighbors in Sims Freeplay.
Adding Neighbors in Sims Freeplay for Android
If you’re playing on Android and would like to add neighbors to your game, simply link your Facebook account to Sims Freeplay. To do this, open the game and once the Main Menu has loaded, click the three-dotted icon at the bottom corner. This will take you to a new screen where you can access the Account Management option.
Now access the account management option by selecting the lock icon. Then choose the Login button in the Facebook box. If you have Facebook installed on your Android device and are logged in, simply press Continue to connect Sims Freeplay to your Facebook account.
Adding Neighbors in Sims Freeplay for iOS
Similar to the above steps, simply link your Facebook account but the process is slightly different on iOS and you might need to activate tracking from the iOS settings by going to Settings on your iOS or iPad OS and selecting Privacy then turning on Tracking.
Close and reopen Sims Freeplay and if you get a prompt, simply Allow it. Then go back to the Account Management section of the game and you should be able to successfully link your Facebook account to the game.
After you’ve successfully linked your Facebook account to Sims Freeplay, you’ll be able to access neighbors from your Facebook friends from the World icon menu. These aren’t just any Facebook friends but friends who have also linked their Sims Freeplay account to their Facebook account.
