Among the most challenging story bosses in the game is the Corrupted Seed. Here’s how to defeat it with ease.

How to Beat Corrupted Seed in Ruined King: A League of Legends Story

The Corrupted Seed is fought while exploring the Drowned Temple, and you can use any party composition to take it down. Given the boss’ unique abilities, however, you will want to have certain Champions with you to make the fight easier.

The Corrupted Seed’s main ability, Corrupting Roots, not only deals light damage but also applies a random debuff between Poison, Bleed, Ignite, Slow, Sunder, Magic Sunder or Stun, thus making your life much harder. As such, you will have to focus on removing them as soon as they are applied, and the fastest way to do so is with Braum’s Level 1 Ultimate. Letting the debuffs stack will only worsen your combat performance, and make it easier for the boss to kill you with the Shadow Nova ability, which deals massive magic damage.

To use Shadow Nova, the Corrupted Seed summons its Shadow Heart first, which prevents the boss from being damaged by any of your attacks as well. When you see the Shadow Heart out, attack it with everything you have got to prevent the boss from using Shadow Nova and deal some damage to it as well. Given how the boss cannot be damaged when the Shadow Heart is out, you will want to apply some damaging debuffs yourself to the boss, so that it will continue getting damaged while you focus on healing your own debuffs and healing your party.

If you play your cards out, the Corrupted Seed will not be able to use the Shadow Nova ability. Keep up the strategy outlined above, and the boss will easily become history.
