How many times has Sonic fought, and defeated Doctor Robotnik, a.k.a. Eggman over the years? Far too many, but never has been a battle between our hero and the evil doctor being as unique as it is the one at the of Sonic The Hedgehog Spinball, one of the most interesting Sonic the Hedgehog games ever released that is now finally available on Nintendo Switch as part of the Genesis – Nintendo Switch Online library.
In case you have cleared the first three stages of the game, and reached Robotnik’s boss room but you are having trouble taking him down, you have come to the right place. Here’s how to defeat him without too much trouble.
How to Beat Robotnik in Sonic The Hedgehog Spinball on Nintendo Switch
Despite what may look like as soon as you reach the boss room in the Showdown stage, taking down Robotnik in Sonic The Hedgehog Spinball is rather simple.
Once you get inside the boss room, you will have to infiltrate Robotnik’s ship. This can be done from the wings by destroying the windows with a spin dash, hitting them three times, or by simply using the bombs as springs in the lower part of the ship.
After getting inside Robotnik’s ship, you will have to press the button in the middle of Robotnik’s pod five times. You will know you have done this correctly when “Smell my Socks” is displayed in the Status Bar. At this point, try to get Sonic to the sides of the pod to attack Robotnik directly. Repeat this procedure until Robotnik is defeated, and you will have completed Sonic The Hedgehog Spinball!
