Before you can actually do so, however, you will have to deal with a powerful monster who has the mind of making your Champions its meal.

Here’s everything you need to know to not end up down the Deeplurker stomach.

How to Beat the Deeplurker in Ruined King: A League of Legends Story

The Deeplurker is fought during The Isle Await main story quest. You can choose between four Champions at this point, but you shouldn’t have too many problems with any party composition as long as you keep focused on a few things during the battle.

The Deeplurker’s ability set is quite small. It can only use Hull Smasher, which deals moderate damage, and Unleash Frenzy, which deals heavy damage to all enemies. What makes these attacks truly scary is the Frenzied Retaliation buff, which grants the boss a 5% attack increase every time it is attacked. As such, you will need to keep your Champions’ health as high as possible, as a fully charged Unleash Frenzy attack can kill all your characters in a single hit.

Given how hard the Deeplurker can hit, the best strategy is to bring both Illaoi and Braum to the fight. The first should be focused on healing, while the second should put up a shield with his abilities and taunt to take some of the heat off the other party members. As the Deeplurker is not that fast, it is easy to plan ahead and be at max health or with a strong shield before it can unleash its attacks. The stacks of Frenzy are reset after each attack as well, so you do get some turn to restore your health and shield before the Deeplurker can unleash another powerful attack.

Keep defending and healing when needed, use Yasuo or Miss Fortune’s abilities to deal damage, and the Deeplurker will soon return to the deep for the last time of its life!
