Are you tired of your regular life on Earth and looking to explore the stars? We can help jump-start your career with our guide on how to become an Astronaut in BitLife!
Becoming an Astronaut in BitLife
Before we start, you should know that the Astronaut career is locked behind a premium expansion pack. On the BitLife main menu, tap on the marketplace button to go to the premium shop. Scroll down until you find the Job Packs, then purchase the Astronaut pack for 4.99 USD. If you don’t want to shell out the cash, you cannot become an Astronaut, unfortunately.
Once you purchase the Astronaut Job Pack, it’s added to pool of potential jobs. Start your life in one of the countries with a space program, like the US, Russia, Japan, Canada, UK, Germany, or Australia.
Now, let’s start working towards the stars. During the early years of your life, make sure to be a good student and study hard, as this will make your later educational life easier.
Graduate from high school, then immediately apply to college with a degree focus on a STEM field, which includes chemistry, computer science, physics, mathematics, information system, and engineering. Like before, keep studying to keep your grades up, and try joining a STEM club if you can. If you get the opportunity to join space camp, do so!
Once you graduate from college, you’ll need to get your pilot’s license. Work some small jobs if you need the money, then take 40 hours of flight school before you take the pilot’s license test. Take the test, get your license, and now you should have the option to apply for space academy.
Space academy is basically another form of higher education, so apply to it using the Special Careers menu under Occupation. Space academy lasts two years and you’ve got fitness, flight, and technical training to take care of.
During space academy, do not blindly age up, as this will probably make you flunk out. You’ve only got two years to work with, and you need to get all three of your stats up. In the space academy menu, you can train any of those three areas, which you need to do to get your overall performance up. Do not age until you have your performance meter as high as it can go.
Once your two years are up and your performance meter is high, you’ll graduate, and you can finally apply to be an Astronaut. NASA might throw you a pop-quiz question about real-life astronauts, but Wikipedia has all the answers you need.
Congratulations, if everything went well, you should now be an astronaut! If you have any other tips or tricks for becoming an astronaut in BitLife, let us know in the comments below, and don’t forget to check out the rest of our BitLife coverage.
