Leo is a new NPC added to Stardew Valley in Major Update 1.5. An orphan living with a flock of tame parrots on Ginger Island, he is rather timid and not ready to trust you right away. In this guide, we will tell you how to find the boy and his favorite gifts.
Where to Find Leo in Stardew Valley
The character lives in a hut in the eastern part of the island. To successfully contact him, you will need to get 10 golden walnuts, which serve as currency for local residents, which are actually parrots. Give them to Leo, and then Leo will become more talkative.
It is worth noting that depending on the time of day, Leo may end up in other parts of the island.

What Should You Give to Leo?
As with other NPCs, in order to make friends with the kid, you will need to give him gifts. The gifts, in turn, are divided into two categories.
Favorite
The first row is universal gifts that suit almost all NPCs and bring maximum benefits. The second row is Leo-specific items.
Preferred
Aside from these things, it’s worth noting that almost all craft products, almost all food, most flowers, fruits, vegetables, minerals, and gems also fall into this category. But there will be less benefit from them than from the favorite gifts, so if possible, get the items from the first section.
