How to Catch Cresselia in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

Cresselia is one of the few distinct Pokémons in Pokemon Legends Arceus that initially made its debut in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl. It is also the second half of the Lunar Duo from the Sinnoh region. It is entirely possible to catch a Cresselia in Legends Arceus and while Darkrai is known to spread darkness and nightmares, Cresselia is known for healing those nightmares with its Lunar Wing.

Cresselia-TTP

Cresselia is able to cast an aura of confusion that is capable of encompassing the entire arena and muddies the player’s sense of direction. It also switches the axes on the controller. So, if a player attempts to walk to the right, they will instead walk to the left. This means in order to get close enough to Cresselia, you must abide by these inverted controls.

After you’ve gotten close enough within throwing distance, you can toss any type of low-value item at Cresselia. This will break her force field and disrupt the aura of confusion she casted.

You can try to capture Cresselia by battling or by throwing a Ball with a higher catch rate. Cresselia is a level 70 Pokémon and knows attacks like Psychic, Moonblast, Lunar Blessing and Psycho Cut. Since she’s a Psychic-type Pokémon, Cresselia is weak to Bug, Ghost and even Dark types.
