How to Catch Jangmo-O in Pokémon GO

Jangmo-o is one of the many Pokémon that have appeared and are still appearing in Pokemon Go throughout the Season of Alola event. To find this creature, you’ll have to venture away from the typical process of catching a Pokémon before you can add Jangmo-o to your collection and into your Pokédex.

In this brief guide, we’ll be detailing how to catch Jangmo-o in Pokémon Go.

Jangmo-o-TTP

Jangmo-o is unlike the dozens of other Alolan Pokémon that have made their debut in the Season of Alola, as it only shows up in one location. Players can catch Jangmo-o by hatching it into an egg.

Once the season launches on March 1st, these eggs will have to be from any PokeStops or Gyms you spin. However, before adding an egg to the incubator, you’ll have to view the egg in order to see if you have a chance to potentially hatch a fresh new Jangmo-o.

Once you’ve gotten your hands on Jangmo-o, you can also evolve it to Hakamo-o, and Kommo-o. We advise getting lots of Candy to evolve Jangmo-o into its more powerful forms.

Being a Dragon-type Pokémon, they’re pretty hard to catch in Pokémon Go, though we hope Jangmo-o is made easier to acquire via other methods throughout the Season of Alola. For now, you can only catch Jangmo-o via specific egg hatches in Pokémon Go.
