How to Catch Tornadus in Pokemon Legends Arceus

Pokémon Legends: Arceus was released last month after much fanfare and hype. It is the latest installment in the Pokémon series and takes a much different turn than its predecessors do in terms of storytelling and game mechanics.

The game takes place in the ancient Hisui region, which would become modern-day Sinnoh. Fighting and capturing Pokémon is drastically different with battles taking place on the overworld instead of turn-based instance battles, as was the staple of the series thus far.

Included in the 242 Pokémon in Legends: Arceus are Legendary Pokémon from older generations. Today, we will be shining the spotlight on Tornadus and its appearance in the game.

Tornadus

Tornadus is a Legendary Pokémon introduced in Generation 5’s games of Pokémon Black and White. Referred to as the Force of Nature Pokémon alongside Thundurus and Landorus, it is a part of the Legendary Trio of Gen 5.

Being a Legendary Pokémon, being able to pinpoint its location down is going to be the hardest part for players. Tornadus appears only after the player has finished the Giratina quest by defeating Giratina. After this, the player needs to accept the request called “Incarnate Forces of Hisui.”

Upon doing this, Tornadus will spawn somewhere on the overworld.

How to catch Tornadus

The location to go to find Tornadus would be the Alabaster Icelands. The catch here is that Tornadus will only appear when there is a blizzard in the region.

Once the player has accepted the “Incarnate Forces of Hisui” request and stepped foot onto the Alabaster Icelands during a blizzard, Tornadus will randomly appear at a spot that is covered by the blizzard.

After finding Tornadus, we recommend the player bring out their best Electric-type or Rock-type Pokémon to fight Tornadus since it is a Flying-type Pokémon. Get it weak enough and you should be able to catch it and add a Tornadus to your party!
