How to Change Age in MultiVersus: Age Change Guide

If you have entered the wrong age, or need to change it for any other reason, just follow this Multiversus guide!

MultiVersus is an upcoming multiplayer fighting game currently in open beta stage of development. Thousands are flocking to the new free-to-play platform game to check out if their favourite character will be available. In all the excitement, some players have noticed they have actually entered the wrong age, or need to change it in order to start playing online. How to Change Your Age in MultiVersus

Although the new free-to-play fighting game is open to players aged 13 years old and over, players who have entered an age under 18 years are being restricted. Only players aged 18 and over seem to be able to join in online. This may be a bug, or overlooked somehow by the devs, but until the bug is fixed many players are now asking: can you change your age in MultiVersus?

Unfortunately there does not seem to be a way to change your age when you are already playing the game so the only way around this is to delete any saved data. On console this may mean deleting the game entirely (including saved data) and redownloading. Hopefully that will allow you to enter an age above 18 years, giving you access to online features.

On PC there are some steps to follow to change the age. Doing this will delete all saved data- this means your progress will be lost. Find them below:

  1. Enter %AppData% in the Windows search bar
  2. Open ‘Roaming’ folder
  3. Find ‘Local’ folder
  4. Open the ‘MultiVersus’ folder
  5. Open ‘Saved’
  6. Delete files named ‘SavedGames’

After the saved games files are deleted you can reboot the game, and re-register your details including an updated age. As you will now be registered as over 18 years old, you will also be able to see any mature language.
