How to Adjust Lighting in Animal Crossing: New Horizons Happy Home Paradise

Like for every other Design Skill included in the Animal Crossing: New Horizons Happy Home Paradise expansion, you will have to make some progress before you can change the lighting of the vacation homes you design.

To be able to change lighting, you will have to design your 12th vacation home and obtain the Breakout Designer job title. Once this is done, you will have to speak with Lottie, who will assign you the next job to improve the archipelago.

At this point, you will have the choice of building a cafe at the beachfront or a restaurant on the main street. No matter which you pick, Lottie will teach you how to change the lighting, which is done by pressing the down directional button while you are designing a home and then left to get to the Room Settings menu. By adjusting the lighting, you can improve the atmosphere of any house, highlighting its theme even more!
