How to Change Your Name in Among Us

Among Us has been around for close to two years and they’ve just recently released their brand-new Airship map, which is a fine addition and a breath of fresh air into the acclaimed multiplayer game.

This new map challenges players with a variety of new tasks, levels of depths that were not previously available in the game, and new gameplay elements as well. A high number of players will likely make a return to the game after a long break or play the game for the first time.

Whichever the case may be, many players will want to change their Among Us account name at some point. Despite the recent addition of an account system to Among Us, the process of changing your name in the game remains simple.

After opening the game, you’ll see an account button on the left-hand side of the menu screen. Once you tap on this button, it’ll lead you to an account screen that will display your character, the last in-game name you used, and the option to sign in or change name. You’ll also get an option that allows you to randomize names or log out of the game.

And for players who are playing the game for the first time, they can simply sign in and create an account. You can also play the game as a guest if you simply want to try and out and don’t plan on spending hours on it.

Once you’ve created your account, you’ll then return to the account screen where the name-changing option will become available. You can then select the option and type whatever you want to use as your new name, then confirm the change.
