How to Complete Genshin Impact’s Cleansing Defilement Quest

Genshin Impact’s Cleansing Defilement is the third quest in the Sacred Sakura Cleansing Ritual questline. Players can start this questline by talking to an NPC called Kazari, near Konda village. To get to the Cleansing Defilement part, players have to complete two sub-quests called A Strange Story in Konda and Sacrificial Offering.

The Cleansing Defilement quest doesn’t provide players with any waypoint or direct navigation to the quest. How to Complete Cleansing Defilement Quest

To complete Genshin Impact’s Cleansing Defilement quest, players have to cleanse the remaining three sacred sakura trees found in Chinju Forest, Araumi, and Kamisato Estate. Similar to the first two quests, to perform sacred sakura cleansing rituals at the aforementioned sites, players need the respective cleansing ward.

Once players have the ward, they have to go to the Sacred Sakura location, solve the lantern puzzle and defeat Ochimusha/’s to cleanse the area.
